Dr Laura Velasquez Jimenez

Research Officer

I recently joined Nerilie Abram’s lab as a research officer working in climate research. My background is in marine biology, I completed my PhD in 2022 at James Cook University where I investigated the effects of man-made noise on reef fish behaviour. After finishing my PhD, I decided to broaden the scope of my research by studying anthropogenic forcing in other systems.
