Rainbows in Science

Celebrating diversity!

Hosted by Science ANU this event aimed at LGBTQIA+ young adults who are interested in science!

Come along and meet LGBTQIA+ scientists and allies from ANU and beyond. Experience a range of colourful STEMonstrations from a variety of science disciplines (Earth sciences, environmental sciences, biology, physics, and medicine). The STEMonstrations will be delivered by fellow LGBTQIA+ community and ally members, and are designed to show how science influences people's lives and the world around them.

The hands-on STEMonstration session (4:00 - 5:30pm) will be followed by a keynote speaker and networking event with light refreshments (5:45 - 8:00pm)
This National Science Week project is supported by the Australian Government. Support has also been provided by the Australian National University, ARC Training Centre for Future Crops Development, and Geoscience Australia.
