Congratulations to Professor Jochen Brocks for being elected Geochemistry Fellow, which was announced on Wednesday, 13 February.
With this honour, the EAG and GS recognize Jochen’s research on the molecular evidence in sedimentary records that attest to the timing of the evolution of eukaryotic organisms on Earth. His work has had a profound impact on understanding of the progression of life on Earth, redefining the principles that serve as validation of molecular evidence for ancient organisms.
