Research interests

I use a range of novel and traditional micro to nanoanalytical techniques to solve problems related to biomineralization processes of e.g. mollusk shells and pearls. My research is interdisciplinary and brings together aspects from aquaculture, biology, geochemistry, gemmology, and material sciences.
