About

I'm a PhD candidate in the Experimental Petrology group, working on the geochemistry of ore deposits. I use multiple analytical tools including LA-ICP-MS, SHRIMP-SI, SEM, and the Heating/Freezing Stage, to investigate the genesis of sediment-hosted Cu deposits in Queensland and pegmatite-hosted Li deposits in Western Australia. Before starting my master's and doctoral studies at ANU, I worked as a geologist in the mining industry for three years.

Research interests

My main research interest is the geochemistry of ore deposits. In determining the genesis of ore mineralization, I use several approaches, including:

  • Trace elements
  • Stable isotopes
  • Geochronology
  • Fluid and melt inclusion
