Ringwood Medal

The A. E. Ringwood Medal is awarded by the Geological Society of Australia to recognise internationally recognised research in Earth processes, honouring researchers who have made exceptional advances in understanding the fundamental physical and chemical workings of the Earth. Named after geophysicist Alfred Edward (Ted) Ringwood, the medal celebrates outstanding, globally impactful contributions to Earth and planetary science.
