The two multi collectors combine the ability of the inductively-coupled plasma to efficiently ionise most elements, with the precision to perform isotope ratio measurements. Isotope systems that are able to be analysed in this way range all the way from Li to U. The machines are equipped with laser ablation for in-situ sample analysis. as well as an APEX, APEX HF, Aridus II and a wide variety of additional introduction system components to cater even for the most demanding isotope systems. Regular isotope systems include Cu, Fe, Li, Rb, K, U, U/Th, Nd, Lu/Hf and many others.
